James is an accomplished designer and educator in the marching arts. He recently just finished his first season with the 2023 DCI Finalist Blue Knights serving as the sound designer and audio caption head. He has worked with many different ensembles in design and education capacities including Broken City, Pulse, Vessel, Arcadia High School, and Canyon High School.
He is the founder of Catherall Audio, a company dedicated to creating high quality educational content on YouTube and other platforms.
James's WGI performing experience includes time with Pulse Open, Pulse, and RCC. He also marched with Vanguard Cadets, Santa Clara Vanguard, and The Blue Devils.
